This is the Half-Life 2 mod update for May/June 2005.

Month's Overview:
Private Half-Life 2 mods have not been receiving much attention this month. Although probably a result of the recent release of Battlefield 2 and F.E.A.R. multiplayer beta's, even before they were released, none of the mods have struck a remarkable ammount of popularity. At the time of posting, total users / total servers for private HL2 mods is 260/202. The following comments (below each mod's description) on ammount of servers is based on the user to server ratio.

The following multiplayer mods are released for Half-Life 2:

Counter-Strike: Source

Game Type: FPS, Bomb/Defuse, Rescue the Hostages; "Kill the other team"

in theory i was excited about eclipse, but only got a couple fps. something must be wrong on my end though.

the hidden was kinda neat, but you can spend alot of time in spectator mode before you ever play, thats lame. and its like 8 on one, so its easy to get ganked, and hard to kill folk (for me)

i never download GM, cause they come out so frequently, i will one day

why do you include css and hldm. those ain't mods, they came with the game? and they came out LONG AGO

I like this idea, but what does this mean "I NEED FEWER SERVERS!" ??

Well looking at the number of servers compared to the number of users it was coming up to 1/8th of a person per server or 30 people a server on average.

"The following comments (below each mod's description) on ammount of servers is based on the user to server ratio." - didn't explain it well enough.

I will change that later.
