We have software on our side that the other sites dont have the professionals to develop

oh yeah i forgot about that...

we still have the problem of trying to get a solid community (starting from the few of us, no less) based solely on a game thats 3 years old with no viable ubermods and a shrinking community.

TF2 Is coming out, there are a bunch of mods which will link to us once we promise consistent news posting. I think no matter what the way I will be building the site ground-up as a modification/news site for a video game is going to make the difference.

Every HL site is either a huge network or a forum-based software package.
