If your thinking about modelling but not sure if you'll like it do what i did.

Step 1: Download GMax

Step 2: Download the Gmax Tutorials

Step 3: Do the tutorial on creating the P-51 i think. The plane one biggrin.gif
Note: This tutorial covers all the essential techniques and tools to modelling an object for ingame. In this case a plane. It is a perfect starting point for any wannabe 3d modeller.

Step 4: You are now a qualified 3d modelling n00b congradulations. Your next step maybe to choose another plane, find some desent blueprints and try modelling it without using the help of a tutorial.
