I heard that the current world craft hammer is compatible with the hammer for hl2. tongue.gif You migth have to add some changes in the future. dry.gif

napping aint my specialty i can do basic mapping but tieing things to entities i have no clue to most of it

If you plan to convert maps to HL2, don't bother with entities. They won't be used in this form anymore. I think we could expect an actor(entity) hierarchy such as in Unreal.. TBH, I'd focus more on geometry.

also, from the SDK interview with Valve they said that the new Hammer grid units have been more accurately set to be 1 unit= 1 inch
so some maps might be fudged over lol.
thats just my understanding though.

actually the Grid units in Hammer are already 1 unit/1 inch
You can confirm this by exporting/importing things made in AutoCAD or 3dsMax
