hmm, steep parallax looks the best there, but i think the first parallax map in the comparison needs a little work, it looks like someone did a crappy clone tool job on it in PS 2.0 hehe... I'm still liking the process of normal mapping with zbrush and all that.

it'd be interesting to see the same guy who put bump-mapping in hl1, try to use parallax wua ha ha
My brain hurts.
